FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about DriveZ's driver dispatch service, answered before you get started.

Our Service

Which areas do you cover?

+
We're based in Bangkok and cover the wider Bangkok area — including Sriracha, Chonburi, and Rayong — as well as the rest of Thailand.

Can you arrange the vehicle and insurance as well?

+
Yes. From vehicle procurement to insurance and driver dispatch, everything is contracted and managed in one place, end-to-end. No more juggling a separate dispatch agency for drivers, a rental company for vehicles, and a broker for insurance.

Do you offer both on-site (stationed) drivers and spot dispatch?

+
Yes, both. From spot driver dispatch to a center driver stationed at your office, we tailor the arrangement to your needs.

Can we transfer our current drivers — whether from another agency or our own employees — directly to DriveZ?

+
We support transferring drivers who are directly employed by your company. This turns a fixed cost into a variable one and helps optimize your labor spend.

Drivers

What are your driver screening standards? How is quality assured?

+
We only hire drivers who pass our proprietary cognitive test, covering spatial awareness, attention, processing speed, and memory. We also run background checks for criminal records and past misconduct, plus drug testing at hiring and on a regular, unannounced basis. Hygiene is strictly managed too, including mandatory antibacterial uniforms.

How do we communicate with our driver? Do we need to speak Thai?

+
No Thai required. Owners and drivers talk directly through chat in the DDash app, with automatic Japanese ⇄ Thai translation — send a message in Japanese and it arrives in Thai. Stickers and images are supported too.

Our dispatched driver has requested leave. Can you send a substitute?

+
Yes, we can arrange a substitute driver for planned leave — please discuss the details when you sign the contract. For same-day lateness or absence, our AI monitors each driver's progress in real time and automatically dispatches a backup the moment it detects an issue, so your pickup time isn't affected.

Management & App

How can we check attendance and overtime?

+
Drivers clock in and out from the DDash app with a selfie, and work hours and overtime are tallied automatically. You get access to detailed attendance data — unlike paper-based tracking, this prevents proxy clock-ins and padded overtime.

How is safe driving managed?

+
Driving behavior is monitored continuously, and risky acts such as speeding, harsh acceleration, and hard braking are detected automatically. We calculate a safety score per driver and track trends in distance and trip count, with re-training provided whenever risky behavior is confirmed.

Can you prevent private use of the vehicle outside working hours?

+
You can check the live location of active vehicles from a phone or PC. Movement after clock-out triggers an alert, which helps deter private use.

Is the app available in Japanese?

+
No special training is needed — it works exactly the way it looks, with a simple, intuitive interface.
