The topic is the “driver problem” that expatriates and companies face: lateness, dangerous driving and paper-based attendance records.

Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) introduced DDash for about 50 Japanese expatriates at its Ayutthaya and Korat plants. The safe-driving management system and the backup-driver arrangement were the key reasons. Since the introduction, paper checks and manual entry have been eliminated, and there have been no cases of being unable to depart because a driver was absent.
