# DriveZ > DriveZ provides DDash, an AI-powered driver dispatch service in Bangkok, Thailand. Smart attendance, safety management, and driving behavior analytics. DriveZ Co., Ltd. - AI-powered next-generation driver dispatch service provider based in Bangkok, Thailand ## Safer and more convenient with technology. Managed drivers, managed operations — driver dispatch run on an app and AI. ## The only app- and AI-driven driver dispatch in Thailand. DDash is the only driver dispatch service in Thailand powered by a mobile app and AI. Based in Bangkok, we serve clients across Sriracha, Chonburi, Rayong, and throughout Thailand — offering both driver dispatch and monthly car-with-driver rental for companies, plus [car and van charter on a per-trip basis](https://www.drive-z.co/en/charter/). DriveZ is backed by Flare, a tech company operating in 10 countries across Southeast Asia and Japan, bringing world-class field management and analytics to every dispatch. ### Four reasons companies choose DriveZ. - **Challenging the lowest price among Japanese firms in Thailand**: Next-generation DX management delivers overwhelmingly low cost. Efficient, technology-driven operations cut waste thoroughly — keeping Japanese-quality assurance while significantly reducing your company's costs. - **Vehicles, insurance & drivers — managed end-to-end**: No more juggling a dispatch agency for drivers, a rental company for vehicles, and a broker for insurance. From vehicle procurement to insurance and skilled-driver dispatch, contract and manage everything in one place, end-to-end. - **Both dispatch & on-site (center) drivers**: From spot driver dispatch to center drivers stationed at your office, we flexibly adapt to your requirements. - **Employee driver transfer service**: Transfer your in-house drivers to DriveZ — turning fixed costs into variable costs and optimizing your labor spend. If you'll keep managing the vehicles in-house, take a look at [DZ Fleet](https://www.drive-z.co/en/fleet/) as well. ### POWERED BY FLARE - **Flare Dash**: Field worker activity management (https://flare-dash.com/en) - **Flare Analytics**: Driving behavior analytics (https://flare-analytics.com/en) ## Here's how DDash differs from conventional dispatch. We replaced tasks that relied on people with systems built on apps and AI. ### Attendance Management - DDash: Attendance and driving data are recorded via the app, preventing overtime fraud and giving you detailed records. - Conventional: Paper-based aggregation — a breeding ground for overtime fraud, with no detailed data for clients. ### Attendance Approval - DDash: Check and approve attendance in one tap from the admin app; area restrictions automate approval and block fraud. - Conventional: Clients must check self-reported paper times and sign off each one — error-prone and heavy. ### Backup Dispatch - DDash: Absences and lateness are fully managed; a backup driver is auto-dispatched to meet your pickup time. - Conventional: Replacements are scrambled by hand and often miss the pickup time. ### Chat App - DDash: Chat with your driver in the app with automatic translation — no Thai needed. - Conventional: Phone calls across a language barrier make communication hard. ### Safety Management - DDash: Driving behavior is monitored continuously; speeding and harsh acceleration/braking trigger alerts and re-training. - Conventional: A few trainings a year — everyday driving goes unmanaged and safety becomes a formality. ### Vehicle Management - DDash: See your vehicle's location from a phone or PC, with movement alerts for off-hours private use. - Conventional: No visibility once the driver clocks out. ## Fully managed by a mobile app and AI. See the actual screens. No special training needed — it works the way it looks. ### Clock in and out with GPS and a selfie. (Attendance) Drivers clock in and out from the app, with a selfie captured at that moment to confirm it's really them. Work hours and overtime are tallied automatically. - Selfie-verified clock in and out - Work hours and overtime calculated automatically - Fix a missed punch right on the spot ### Approve a correction in one tap. (Attendance Approval) Review correction requests like "forgot to clock out" in a single list and approve or reject them instantly. Who, when and why — each comes with a photo, so you decide without second-guessing. - Approve or reject correction requests instantly - See the reason and time with a photo attached - Filter to pending requests only ### Sudden lateness or a no-show — covered. (Backup Dispatch) AI watches each driver's morning, from clock-in to arrival. The moment it spots trouble — a missed punch, a delay — it dispatches a backup driver. Your client never waits. - AI monitors the day's progress in real time - Auto-dispatches a backup the moment it detects trouble - Keeps the impact on your client to a minimum ### Type in Japanese, arrives in Thai. (Chat & Translation) Owners and drivers talk directly in the in-app chat. Japanese ⇄ Thai is translated automatically, so "where are you now?" gets across without the language barrier. - Auto-translate Japanese ⇄ Thai - Owners and drivers talk directly - Stickers and images supported ### Driving visualized as a score — safety enforced. (Safety Score) Risky moves like hard braking are detected automatically and rolled up into a safety score per driver. Trips and distance trends are there too, so coaching and reviews run on numbers. - Auto-detect hard braking and risky acts - Per-driver safety score and trend - Trips and distance at a glance ### Every vehicle, live on the map. (Vehicle Management) See where each active vehicle is in real time. Plate number, model, and the assigned driver — all just one tap away. Learn more about [DZ Fleet](https://www.drive-z.co/en/fleet/). - Real-time GPS location tracking - Plate, model & owner in one place - Movement alerts flag off-hours private use ## Good drivers shouldn't be left to chance. - **Driver Aptitude Check**: Before joining, every driver passes our proprietary cognitive test covering spatial awareness, attention, processing, and memory. - **Digitally Capable Drivers**: We hire only drivers who can operate the DDash app, Google Maps, and smartphones confidently. - **Driver Hygiene Management**: Antibacterial uniforms plus mandatory deodorant spray and sheets ensure a clean, comfortable ride every time. - **Thorough Drug Testing**: Drug use by drivers is a serious issue in Thailand. DriveZ tests at hiring and conducts regular surprise inspections — any confirmed use means immediate replacement. - **Thorough Background Checks**: Criminal records and past employment problems are rigorously verified. Drivers with issues are never hired. ## You can start using our service in as little as 12 business days from application. - Requirements Review (1–2 Business Days) - Quotation (5 Business Days) - Driver Selection (5 Business Days) - Contract & Start (1 Business Day) Start in as little as 12 business days. ## What our clients tell us. - "Switching to the DDash app wiped out paper-based attendance fraud and cut the cost of padded overtime." (Manufacturing · General Affairs) - "Even when a driver is late or absent, DDash's wake-up management sends a backup by the pickup time — I've never been late to a meeting or a round of golf." (Trading · Executive) - "After adopting DDash, private use of our vehicles dropped and fuel costs came down versus our previous dispatcher." (Logistics · Operations) ## We already keep many companies moving. - Canon - Hitachi - IDAC - Idemitsu - Itochu - KWE - Marubeni - Meidensha - NXS - Sankyu - Sekisui - Sumitomo ## ABOUT US ### Satoru Ichihara (Nick) (CEO) Ex-Toyota Tsusho / SoftBank STATION Ai After graduating from university, Satoru joined Toyota Tsusho Corporation, where he was mainly engaged in automobile parts logistics and supply chain construction. From vehicle procurement to insurance and driver dispatch, everything is contracted and managed in one place, end-to-end. No more juggling a separate dispatch agency for drivers, a rental company for vehicles, and a broker for insurance. **Can I rent a car with a driver on a monthly basis?** Yes. DriveZ offers monthly car-with-driver rental for companies — from vehicle procurement and insurance to a dedicated professional driver, all in one contract. It suits ongoing executive transport and regular business travel, with predictable monthly pricing across Bangkok and the Eastern Seaboard. **Do you offer both on-site (stationed) drivers and spot dispatch?** Yes, both. From spot driver dispatch to a center driver stationed at your office, we tailor the arrangement to your needs. **Can we transfer our current drivers — whether from another agency or our own employees — directly to DriveZ?** We support transferring drivers who are directly employed by your company. This turns a fixed cost into a variable one and helps optimize your labor spend. ### Drivers **What are your driver screening standards? How is quality assured?** We only hire drivers who pass our proprietary cognitive test, covering spatial awareness, attention, processing speed, and memory. We also run background checks for criminal records and past misconduct, plus drug testing at hiring and on a regular, unannounced basis. Hygiene is strictly managed too, including mandatory antibacterial uniforms. **Can we request conditions for the driver, such as a non-smoker or under 50?** Yes. If you have preferences such as a non-smoker or a particular age range, let us know in advance and we will assign a driver who matches your requirements wherever possible. **How do we communicate with our driver? Do we need to speak Thai?** No Thai required. Owners and drivers talk directly through chat in the DDash app, with automatic Japanese ⇄ Thai translation — send a message in Japanese and it arrives in Thai. Stickers and images are supported too. **Our dispatched driver has requested leave. Can you send a substitute?** Yes, we can arrange a substitute driver for planned leave — please discuss the details when you sign the contract. For same-day lateness or absence, our AI monitors each driver's progress in real time and automatically dispatches a backup the moment it detects an issue, so your pickup time isn't affected. **Can we request that a driver be replaced?** Yes, drivers can be replaced. If you are not satisfied with a driver's attendance or conduct and the situation cannot be improved, we will as a rule arrange a different driver within roughly 7 business days of your request. **What happens if there's an accident or a traffic violation?** If an accident occurs, please make caring for anyone injured your first priority. Once the scene is safe, contact your insurance company and DriveZ promptly. We will review the situation and support you with whatever response is required. ### Management & App **How can we check attendance and overtime?** Drivers clock in and out from the DDash app with a selfie, and work hours and overtime are tallied automatically. You get access to detailed attendance data — unlike paper-based tracking, this prevents proxy clock-ins and padded overtime. **How is safe driving managed?** Driving behavior is monitored continuously, and risky acts such as speeding, harsh acceleration, and hard braking are detected automatically. We calculate a safety score per driver and track trends in distance and trip count, with re-training provided whenever risky behavior is confirmed. **Can you prevent private use of the vehicle outside working hours?** You can check the live location of active vehicles from a phone or PC. Movement after clock-out triggers an alert, which helps deter private use. **Is the app available in Japanese?** No special training is needed — it works exactly the way it looks, with a simple, intuitive interface. ### Pricing & Contract **How much does it cost?** Pricing depends on the terms of your contract — the number of drivers, working hours, overtime, and so on. We quote every client individually based on how they will use the service, so please get in touch for details. **Is there a minimum contract term or a notice period for cancellation?** The minimum contract term is one year. To cancel, you need to give notice at least 60 days before your contract renewal date. **What's included in the price, and what's billed separately?** There are four main charges: the base fee, overtime, the early-morning/late-night allowance, and the long-distance allowance. DZ Fleet, our GPS vehicle management service, is also available as an option. Actual pricing varies with working conditions and contract terms, so please get in touch for details. **Can you cover early mornings, late nights, and weekends? How is overtime (OT) calculated?** Yes, we cover early mornings, late nights, and weekends. Overtime (OT) rates vary with working hours and contract terms; we will walk you through the details when we prepare your quotation. ### Getting Started **How long does it take to get started?** You can start using the service in as little as 12 business days: requirements review (1–2 business days) → quotation (5 business days) → driver selection (5 business days) → contract & start (1 business day). **What should we do first?** Please reach out through the contact form on our site. Our team will follow up to review your requirements and prepare a quotation. ## Charter with Driver & Van Charter for Businesses https://www.drive-z.co/en/charter/ Charter a sedan or van with a professional driver by the day or by the trip — executive transfers, factory visits, offsite meetings and airport runs across Bangkok and the Eastern Seaboard. ### Reliable charter with driver — sedans and vans Vehicle, insurance and a vetted professional driver, all under one contract. Tell us your group size and purpose and we'll recommend the right vehicle. **How is charter pricing calculated?** It depends on the vehicle type, distance and hours of use. Share your requirements and we'll prepare a quote. **Can you charter for upcountry or overnight trips?** We focus on Bangkok and the Eastern Seaboard but can arrange upcountry or overnight charters on request — just share your dates and destination. **Can I communicate with the driver in English or Japanese?** The DDash app chat auto-translates between Japanese and Thai, so you can coordinate with the driver without speaking Thai. ### Ready to charter with a driver? Tell us your purpose and area, and we'll recommend the right vehicle with a quote. ## Is your company car being used behind your back? https://www.drive-z.co/en/fleet/ DZ Fleet is vehicle management that joins attendance data to GPS. Whether the car is taken out after hours, slips away mid-shift, or moves while it is supposed to be waiting, we detect it and let you know. ### In-house drivers or a dispatch company - it happens either way. This is not a story about unlucky companies. Whether you employ your drivers directly or leave it to a dispatch provider, the same things happen. In most cases the company simply has not noticed. In Thailand it is common for a dedicated driver to take the car home at the end of the day, and the company only has visibility during working hours. These are the situations that keep coming up. - **Unauthorised private use - gaps in the day, nights and weekends**: Idle time between jobs, after the executive has left for the day, and weekends. The car gets used where the company has no visibility. Not only for personal errands - sometimes as a second income, driving for a ride-hailing app. - **Padded fuel and toll claims**: Distance that was never driven is claimed and refuelled against. Easy Pass charges from private trips are billed to the company. The receipts are there; what is missing is anything confirming the journey actually happened. - **The car leaves while it is waiting**: The executive is in a meeting, at dinner or out on the golf course, and the car is waiting. Because it falls inside working hours, nothing shows up in the usual attendance records - but the car leaves, runs an errand and comes back. - **Suspicion you cannot resolve**: You end up doubting people without any proof, and trust on the ground erodes. Drivers who have done nothing wrong get looked at the same way. The cause is the same in every case: there is no way to connect the fact that the car moved with the question of whether that journey was for work. ### Rules and training have not stopped it. Every company writes it into the staff handbook and explains it on day one. It still happens. If nobody can tell when a rule has been broken, the breach simply continues. What is needed is not more enforcement on paper, but a way to catch it early and keep the damage small. - **Broken, and nobody knows**: The rule exists, but nothing records that it was actually followed. Once breaches go unnoticed for long enough, the rule quietly becomes a formality. - **By the time you notice, it has been running for months**: Odd mileage at month end, fuel costs that do not add up, or a call about an accident - by then it has been going on for a long time. The sooner it surfaces, the smaller the loss. - **Left unchecked, it spreads**: Once it is clear that nothing gets caught, it happens again. Plenty of companies have simply written it off as unavoidable and absorbed it into their costs. DZ Fleet closes the gap that rules alone leave. If you know the moment a car moves when it should not, you can stop the loss the same day. ### Fitting a GPS alone won't tell you whether a trip was for work. GPS can tell you a vehicle is moving. But to tell whether that movement is for work or not, you need to cross-check it against attendance data. What you can actually see depends on where these two data sets live. **You employ your drivers directly** - Attendance data: In-house (attendance system, paper, or Excel) - GPS data: A separate system, even if installed - What you can tell: You can see the car is moving, but not whether it's for work **You use another dispatch provider** - Attendance data: The dispatch provider - GPS data: In-house, or none at all - What you can tell: The data sits across two companies, so there's no way to cross-check it **DriveZ + DZ Fleet** - Attendance data: DriveZ - GPS data: DriveZ - What you can tell: The same provider holds both, so they're cross-checked automatically to detect movement GPS device makers don't hold attendance data. Dispatch providers don't hold GPS data. This only works because we've built and run both ourselves. ### Three reasons DZ Fleet works differently. - **Attendance and GPS sit inside the same provider**: That's what makes it possible to tell that a car moved during a window when every driver assigned to it had already clocked out. This isn't a bolt-on feature — it's a mechanism that only comes from how the business itself is structured. - **You see exactly what we see**: Alerts reach DriveZ and you at the same time, so there's no room for a dispatch provider to cover for its own drivers. From the notification, you can go straight to seeing exactly where and how the vehicle moved. - **You don't need to assign someone to watch it**: A common failure with GPS systems is that they get installed, and then nobody's actually watching the alerts. With DZ Fleet, DriveZ keeps watching even when you're not — AI detects the alert and notifies our operations team. ### If a vehicle moves outside working hours, we detect it and let you know. What DZ Fleet watches is whether this car is currently allowed to move. Two things set that state: outside working hours it is set automatically from attendance data, and during the working day the passenger can set the car to parked. In either state, if the car starts moving, we detect it and let you know. - **Outside working hours, automatically**: Every car has an assigned driver. Once that driver is checked out, the car is covered without anyone configuring anything. Where more than one driver is assigned, it applies once all of them are checked out. - **During the working day, by setting the car to parked**: The passenger can switch the car to parked themselves. Do that while stepping away for a meeting, a dinner or a round of golf and the car is covered even inside working hours - which is how a car slipping away mid-shift or while waiting gets caught. - **To DriveZ and to you at the same time**: The alert reaches our operations team and the passenger's phone at the same moment. Notifications are available in Japanese, English and Thai. - **Check what actually happened, there and then**: Open the app straight from the notification and see the route the car actually took and where it went. You can judge the same day whether it was expected. ### If misuse is confirmed, DriveZ covers it. We do not stop at detecting it and telling you. Where a driver we placed with you is confirmed to have used the car improperly, you do not carry that cost - we reimburse it. If we place the driver, we should answer for how the car gets used. Applies to drivers placed by DriveZ. Full terms are set out when you contract with us. ### What DZ Fleet gives you. It's not just off-duty detection. DZ Fleet covers everything you need for day-to-day vehicle management. - **Real-time location**: See where every active vehicle is right now, all together on a map. Plate number, model, and assigned driver are all visible at a glance. - **Trip history and route playback**: Pick a date and a vehicle to replay that day's trip, complete with the route. Stops are recorded too, so you can later check whether a delay was really traffic. - **Speeding alerts**: Detects driving above a speed you set. - **Vehicle fault alerts**: Detects and reports issues from the in-vehicle device — SOS, power disconnection, collision, low battery, signal jamming, and more. - **Geofence entry and exit**: Records vehicles entering and leaving areas you define on the map — useful for a depot or an industrial estate, for example. - **Watch a car that should not be moving, even during work hours**: Set a car to parked status and you will be notified if it moves, even inside working hours. That covers the car slipping away while its passenger is in a meeting, at dinner or out on the golf course. - **A dashboard of driving activity**: Choose a period to review distance driven, alert trends, and any devices that have gone silent. A daily summary is generated automatically. - **Control who sees what**: Visibility can be split by company or by individual user. You can also share a single vehicle through a link that doesn't require a login. ### How to get started. We'll start by understanding your current situation, then propose the scope you need. If it involves switching drivers, we'll walk through it step by step. - **Consultation**: We'll ask about your fleet size, how you currently manage vehicles, and what's not working. This applies whether you employ your drivers directly or use another dispatch provider. - **Proposal & quotation**: We quote based on your fleet size and how you plan to use it. If you want off-duty detection, we'll also propose the driver arrangement it requires. - **Device installation & setup**: We install the GPS device in each vehicle and set up the admin console. Linking vehicles to their users is also completed at this stage. - **Go live**: We start operation while you check how alerts come through. Because DriveZ keeps watching too, you don't need to monitor it alone. ### Frequently Asked Questions **Can we use this even if we don't use DriveZ's driver dispatch?** Yes, you can. We'll tailor a proposal to your situation, so please get in touch first. That said, off-duty movement detection works by cross-checking attendance data with GPS, so it does require the drivers to be with DriveZ. Real-time location, trip history, and speeding or vehicle fault detection are available to other customers as well. **How much does it cost?** Pricing depends on your fleet size and how you plan to use it, so we quote individually. There are also terms available when combined with driver dispatch or for larger fleets — please reach out. **Can we keep using the GPS already fitted to our company cars?** It depends on the type of device you're currently using. Please get in touch and we'll check compatibility. **Doesn't this end up monitoring the drivers?** What DZ Fleet watches is the company's vehicle, and the goal is to protect it from theft and unauthorised use. Attendance data is used only to determine whether it's working hours — we never track where a driver is once they're off duty. A record of the vehicle moving after clock-out can also help clear a driver of suspicion if the vehicle is stolen. **Will I be notified when the car is moved for a wash or to refuel?** It depends on the state the car was in. If the driver is checked in and the car is not set to parked, no alert is sent. If the car is moved after the driver has checked out, or while it is set to parked, an alert is sent - even for a wash or a refuel. The system goes by whether the car was allowed to move at that moment, not by the reason for the trip. **How far back can we see trip data?** We keep one year of driving data for each vehicle. Pick a date to review that day's trip, complete with the route. ## Business Partners https://www.drive-z.co/en/partners/ We're looking for partners to help keep Thailand moving — from business succession consultations to mutual cooperation on vehicles, jobs, and people.
